Quite an interesting read on the growth of fandom for Bollywood horror and the market in merchandise. Wouldn't mind a Zinda Laash t-shirt as an unusual form of Hammer (ripoff) memorabilia.
Seen the first hour of Purana Haveli. Some horror scenes, but mostly the story is centred on a soppy couple, the evil scheming family pressurising her into an arranged marriage with an oily lounge lizard cousin, some lame chop socky fights as the photographer hero and the girl are waylaid by paid thugs and a house party in the titular haunted mansion - featuring an Indian 'queer' of the Larry Grayson/John Inman variety (well, it was the 1980s). Not forgetting the inevitable musical number. With almost 90 minutes remaining, let's hope the horror gets more of a look in.
