Well blow me down, the new post "Dark Universe" take on The Invisible Man actually sounds quite interesting.
It seems to be looking more towards Jordan Peele's socially-relevant, low-budget, intimate, scary horror films than sub-sub-sub-Marvel superhero dollar-chasing nonsense.
Well, it's not yer Gothic The Invisible Man but this trailer looks pretty interesting: https://youtu.be/dSBsNeYqh-k
Do be aware though that the trailer, er ... shows too much ...
But Uni is not done with terrible ideas yet it seems: https://theplaylist.net/dark-army-paul-feig-inspiration-20191029/
I think the last time I saw a film maker refer to the Frankenstein Monster as "Frankenstein" when making a movie that movie turned out to be Van Helsing. Still, I expect the director of the hugely successful Ghostbusters to be a safe pair of hands...And who can argue with a writer who uses the expression " I’m literally on fire "?
Well, anything is better than Marvel superhero dollar-chasing nonsense (be it sub or super).
