@Sam Crosby This is the one, The Lords of Salem (2012). Judy Geeson, Patricia Quinn and Dee Wallace, no less! I rather enjoyed it. More than Devil's Rejects (which I saw at the cinema with dubbed Spanish screaming).
It's That Woman Again! And she's brought a friend 😁 What took you so long? Mal and I have been holding the fort alone for months. Have you been too busty?
I'm jolly well thanks. I'm type 1 diabetic so I've been hiding a bit through all this but I WENT OUT before. To the corner shop but it was still OUT. I'll email you my details.
Ha! Good god, no - that scene in Bone Tomahawk left me running around the room clutching my bits and howling in denial.Devil's Rejects bits I loved: its grimy, exploitation aesthetic, cynicism, soundtrack, performances (especially Bill Moseley) and a lot of the dialogue ...
Devil's Rejects bits I had an issue with: ... but it's Rob Zombie's frequent problem of thinking the monsters are so cool that they become the heroes - it drains any genuine fear or horror from the proceedings and you're left with a bunch ogf scumbags to root for.
That said, I have gone back to it several times and always come away loving the climax cut to Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird.
I'm less busty now.

Delighted to see you here Sam! I've not seen TDR. What are its good points?
One that really tears me down the middle.
