I've only ever seen snippets of the 'Goes Wrong Show' on the Beeb previously (a ripoff of David McGillivray's 'Farndale Avenue' plays from some forty years ago, as mentioned in his recent autobiography), but watched the whole thing tonight as it was a horror performance, set in an old haunted mansion in 1963. Lots of pratfalls, and gags that Laurel & Hardy perfected 90 years back, but I suppose the lack of comic timing all becomes part of the gag in something like this. Moderately entertaining, though it's no Garth Marenghi. The lengthy stairlift routine was quite funny, and I liked the fact that there was an entire room that remained unused throughout because they couldn't get the door open. Worth a look for curiosity's sake while it's on the BBC iPlayer.

Never heard of this show before. I'll have to check it out, though the words 'curiosity' and 'cat' spring to mind.
