Out Of The Fog (1962), aka Fog For A Killer, the title of the source novel, is a B/W crime thriller in the style of the contemporary Butcher's /Eros quota quickies. "An ex-con is the prime suspect when a series of murders occur under the full moon, every victim a young blonde woman." It's more of a social drama than a suspense thriller, as the ex-con out on parole tries to deal with prejudice from potential employers, mistrust from the police and attempts to pressure him into participating in fresh crimes on the part of the other old lags (including Michael Ripper and George Woodbridge) with whom he resides in a charitable hostel. All the murders happen off screen. The final ten minutes are suspenseful, even if the outcome is predictable. Directed by Montgomery (The Terrornauts) Tully
