Adaptation of the Wilde story set in swinging London and focusing mainly on all the shagging Dorian does. It's something of a Europudding and, in its lack of interest in much other than joyless sex, it reminded me a lot of the films of Jess Franco, only much more competently made and more stylish. Dorian's wide range of tastes - black, white, women, men (including Herbert Lom) - seems quite progressive for horror films of the period. I enjoyed seeing the location footage of London and the costumes were fun. Performances are competent. Those with an interest in pretty men may find the fetishisation of Helmut Berger of appeal.
