An American couple (British soap actor Russel Floyd and Hollywood star Lisa Eichhorn) retire to rural France where they are menaced by youths and decide to take the law into their own hands.
I have no idea who the audience for this is. The crudely stereotyped evil hoodie French youths seem designed to have Daily Mail/UKIP types frothing into their bitter but how much of a crossover is there between that demographic and horror fandom? There's no subtlety here, just straw man baddies set up so that they can be murdered by our "heroes" in scenes that I think we're supposed to applaud in an unlikely mash-up of Death Wish and A Year in Provence. At 105 minutes this is also punishingly long. I hated it.
