Yet to make a less than impressive film, Robert Morgan may just be the best director working in British horror during the 21st century. His latest is TOMORROW I WILL BE DIRT, commissioned by Arrow as a short animated sequel to Jorg Buttgereit's SCHRAMM (a rare, but not unique, case of a British sequel to a foreign horror film). And it's an improvement on the German original, as you can see on the SCHRAMM Blu-ray extras. Buttgereit liked it so much that he now appears to regard it as the official ending to his movie. We see Schramm, still in his bloodied underpants, in a sort of THE BEYOND-like bleak afterlife, compelled to re-enact one of the weirdest incidents from the Buttgereit feature and then meeting a hellish fate at the hands (or should that be mouth, or perhaps...?) of the first movie's chief monstrosity. 8 minutes long, and riveting throughout

How Do I Watch "Tomorrow I Will Be Dirt" With Out Getting The Schramm DVD
Not forgetting Elisar Cabrera's WITCHCRAFT X: MISTRESS OF THE CRAFT, which as the late great fanzine columnist David Prothero said to me "looks as if it has been shot using security cameras"
As soon as I typed that line about sequels, I knew we'd end up making a list! Yeah, TOMORROW I WILL BE DIRT is a pretty rare example of a Brit sequel to a European horror film (though there are others, HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 for starters). Morgan of course previously did a BASKET CASE animation for Arrow. And as well as SEED OF CHUCKY, there were Brit PUMPKINHEAD and WISHMASTER franchise entries.

Curse Of The Fly comes to mind. And that Chucky one. Or were you thinking of non-US productions?
And they are the more 'acceptable' elements of the film...
If you hadn't lost me at Buttgereit you lost me at "bloodied underpants" ...
