Yet to make a less than impressive film, Robert Morgan may just be the best director working in British horror during the 21st century. His latest is TOMORROW I WILL BE DIRT, commissioned by Arrow as a short animated sequel to Jorg Buttgereit's SCHRAMM (a rare, but not unique, case of a British sequel to a foreign horror film). And it's an improvement on the German original, as you can see on the SCHRAMM Blu-ray extras. Buttgereit liked it so much that he now appears to regard it as the official ending to his movie. We see Schramm, still in his bloodied underpants, in a sort of THE BEYOND-like bleak afterlife, compelled to re-enact one of the weirdest incidents from the Buttgereit feature and then meeting a hellish fate at the hands (or should that be mouth, or perhaps...?) of the first movie's chief monstrosity. 8 minutes long, and riveting throughout
